![]() James Fall James was born in Diourbel, Senegal and came to the US in 1999. He was joking with friend of his named Moses one day and said that he needed a guitar. They were both interested in learning how to the play guitar. So then they bought a guitar and James kept it when Moses moved out. James still has the guitar today. It's been with him for years. He started playing and looking for people that he could play with or maybe even create a band or something like that. People told him about Nubian Mady, but unfortunately he was not living in Detroit anymore. James had to figure out a way that he could do it on his own. Thank God with today's technologies he can do a lot. You can call him a "One Man Band" if you like. He even thought about going by that name, OMB. Then he decided that he was gonna go by his real name. He loves making music, especially Reggae. He also tries to write songs that people don't just listen to, but can also benefit from. An example, on his new album, there is a song called "The Truth". You can listen to it by clicking here. He wrote this song because sometimes we need to stand and tell the truth, and we don't always do that. It's not easy, but we must do what is best for us and our countries. He says, "Every time we fail to do it, we will have to pay a big price for it, usually prices we can't afford to pay." This is one reason why he loves being an artist because it allows him to share his thoughts, experiences, ideas and a lot more with the world by just speaking through his microphone.
